Position Overview:

Under close supervision responsible for performing electrical maintenance tasks for the DUF6 project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

Functional:

• Fabricates and installs a large array of plant and industrial electrical equipment and components (i.e., electrical power distribution, electromechanical, high voltage, low voltage)
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and provides routine maintenance for a large array of plant and industrial electrical equipment and components (i.e., electrical power distribution, electromechanical, high voltage, low voltage)
• Operates vehicles, machinery, and

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

• 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required, which shall include:
• 1+ years of experience working on a 480 volt three phase powered distribution system
• Prefers prior experience performing electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial electrical systems capacity
• Possesses or has the ability to obtain any of the following:
• Journeyman’s certification in the licensed trade
• State electrician certificate
• Associate’s Degree in an electrical discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) credential
